The festival
A festival for authors in the age of models.
FFIA creates an independent space to discover new forms of generative cinema, without confusing speed of production with the power of a work.
The project
As images become easier to produce, choice, editing and point of view become even more essential.
The AI Film Festival was born in Strasbourg from that conviction. It showcases films in which artificial intelligence is a production tool, a language or sometimes a subject — never a sufficient argument on its own.
The founding edition on November 28, 2026 favours proximity. It brings together creators, technicians, students, curious audiences and professionals around a concise selection and conversations grounded in the works on screen.
“We are not looking for the most technological film. We are looking for the one you will not forget.”
Three commitments
- 01Artistic standards. Selection begins with storytelling, direction, sound and singularity.
- 02Transparent practices. Every work is accompanied by information about its tools and production method.
- 03Responsible discussion. Copyright, creative labour and environmental impact are part of the program.
